Muld – Specialised Farming

Muld is a small organic near-self-sustainable farm close to Holbæk about an hour’s drive west of Copenhagen. It is run by Ane Rørdam Hoffmeyer (trained designer, now farmer and jack-of-all-trades at Muld) and Jens Vestergaard Jensen (farmer and Michelin recognised chef). The produce of the farm, be it animal or plant, is as varied as possible to provide an ever changing array of ingredients for excellent food. All food is grown, cooked and served at Muld.

We keep sheep, pigs, poultry and grow more than 300 varieties of edible plants. We save rare and historical seeds for growing and sharing.

Occasionally we have open farm day where we serve lunch and do tours. Other events include Muld dinner, lunches, courses and concerts. We also host a yoga class on Thursdays.

The hall at Muld is available for parties, seminars, meetings and more, as long as you don’t mind learning a little bit about sustainability, ecology, seed collection and good food.

Muld is only open for the public when there is an event of some sort.

Write to Ane at for dates and other information.
