Muld – Specialised Farming

Muld is a small organic self-sustainable eatery and farm close to Holbæk about an hour’s drive west of Copenhagen. It is run by Ane Rørdam Hoffmeyer (trained designer, now farmer and jack-of-all-trades at Muld) and Jens Vestergaard Jensen (farmer and Michelin recognised chef). The produce of the farm, be it animal or plant, is as varied as possible to provide an ever changing array of ingredients for excellent food. All food is grown, cooked and served at Muld. Or at least 90% of the food served at Muld, all year round, is our own produce from the farm.

We keep sheep, pigs, poultry and grow hundreds of varieties of edible plants. We save rare and historical seeds for growing and sharing.

Once a month we welcome anyone (with a reservation) for Muld dinner, but the hall at Muld is also available for private or closed parties, seminars, meetings and more. As long as you don’t mind us telling you about our position on sustainability, ecology, seed collection and good food.

Muld is only open for the public when there is an event of some sort.
